Keino Dotaku
Keino Dotaku
Like the Nikkoji Dotaku, the Keino Dotaku are said to have been dug up at Naka-no-Mido in Keino Village (present-day Matsuhokeino, Minamiawaji City). These are gaientsukichu dotakus (dotakus with an outer flange), which have an outer flange adorning the lateral part. They were discovered on the coast overlooking the Harimanada Sea, which suggests the involvement of Umi-no-tami in dotaku rituals in the Yayoi period.
