This is the Nikkoji Dotaku excavation site, where the Buddhist temple Nikkoji is said to have stood. The ancient document kept at Nikkoji Temple mentions that “Inundation uncovered eight dotakus on the coast overlooking the Harimanada Sea.” Bronze swords were also excavated nearby, suggesting a relationship to the Umi-no-tami.
