Matsuho Dotaku

Matsuho Dotaku (Courtesy of Nara National Research Institute for Cultural Properties)
Seven dotakus discovered in the Matsuho area of Minamiawaji City in April 2015. They include 1 in ryokanchu and 6 old-style dotakus from BC. Four dotakus were found nested as two pairs. The Matsuho Dotakus are unique in that they all have clappers, and their burial on the coast suggests the involvement of the Umi-no-tami.
